RTC offers a free electronic service that provides automatic email notifications when selected website information is updated. Urgent transit updates can also be sent by text message to wireless devices. You control which updates you receive through subscription preferences. The service is free.

MyRTC email and text updates are provided by GovDelivery, a leading vendor of email subscription services for government agencies.
To subscribe to MyRTC, register your email address and select the topics that interest you.
Within many pages throughout the website, you will see the MyRTC logo. Click the icon to register for updates related to that specific location.

You can change or cancel your subscription at any time.
MyRTC subscribers can select text messaging for Transit Alerts and Transit Detours. To receive text messages sent to your cellular phone or other wireless device, you need to enter your mobile phone number as an Optional Secondary E-mail Address. Just check the box for “Send Wireless Alerts to this address.” A primary email address is still required to subscribe, even if you request wireless alerts.
Generally, wireless and other short-message devices accept fewer characters (as few as 140 characters per message), so MyRTC Wireless Alerts are formatted to deliver the main message up front. Messages that exceed this character limit may be truncated by your wireless provider. Subscription items that support Wireless Alerts are designated with a on the subscription topic page. Most wireless carriers allow for text e-mail messages, some at an additional cost. For more information on your particular device, please click here.
RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is an XML-based format for distributing web content (such as news headlines or new content). You can use RSS to read or display recently published information. A personalized RSS feed is a single RSS feed that includes all of your updates and alerts. You can view a personalized RSS feed by clicking on the icon that appears on the Subscriber Profile page.
