Free WiFi Hot Spots

RTC 4TH STREET STATION, RTC CENTENNIAL PLAZA, RTC INTERCITY, RTC RIDE and RTC SIERRA SPRIT are free WiFi "hot spots" for accessing the internet. Members of the public can check e-mail, shop online or simply relax and surf the web with their portable internet access devices. Bandwidth for the WiFi is estimated to be similar to a DSL line.

Group Pass Program

Attention Visitors! Public transportation can take the worry out of moving around town. The Group Pass Program for visitors provides quality tranportation at an affordable price. You'll save money and avoid the hassles of traffic and parking when you let us drive. Discounts of up to 20% are available when you purchase 100 or more RTC RIDE transit passes in advance of your meeting or event. Please contact the RTC Public Transportation and Operations department at (775) 332-2147 for more information.

Coordinated Human Services Public Transit Plan (CHP)

Based on new requirements outlined in the Safe, Accountable, Flexible, Efficient Transportation Equity Act—A Legacy for Users (SAFETEA-LU), the RTC is developing a coordinated transportation plan. This plan will establish goals, criteria and strategies to deliver efficient, coordinated services to the region’s senior citizens, persons with disabilities, and those who are financially disadvantaged. Learn more about the CHSP.

Safe Place Program

All RTC transit vehicles and offices are a Safe Place for youth. Learn more about the program administered through The Children’s Cabinet.
