DESCRIPTION:Help your community for the holiday season by donating non-perishable items at the RTC Stuff A Bus food drive.\n\nThe Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) of Washoe County will be collecting donations to help families in need from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. outside Sam’s Club at 4835 Kietzke Lane.\n\nSuggested food items include:\n\nCanned Meals: Stews\, Soups\, Spaghetti/Ravioli (Low-Sodium Preferred)\nProtein: Peanut Butter\, Tuna\, Salmon\, Chicken\, Dried or Canned Beans\nGrains: Whole Grain Cereal\, Oatmeal\, Brown Rice\, Whole Grain Pasta\nFruits: Canned (Packed in 100% Juice or Light Syrup)\, Dried Fruit\, Applesauce (No Sugar Added)\, 100% Fruit Juice Boxes\nVegetables: Canned (No Salt Added and/or Low-Sodium Preferred)\nDairy: Shelf Stable Milk\nKid-friendly Snacks: Granola Bars\, Popcorn\, Animal Crackers\, Graham Crackers\nBaby Products: Formula\, Infant Cereal\, Baby Food\n\nAll donations will be given to the Food Bank of Northern Nevada for distribution to families in need in our community.
