Free RTC Transit to Best in the West Nugget Rib Cook Off August 28 – September 2

Sparks, Nevada (August 27, 2024) – The Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) of Washoe County will provide free transportation on its RAPID Lincoln Line and Route 11 transit services Wednesday, August 28 through Monday, September 2 all day, each day to the Best in the West Nugget Rib Cook Off, in partnership with The Nugget Casino Resort. RTC will also provide free ACCESS rides to and from the event.

“Fourth Street Station and Centennial Plaza are the best ways to get access to these routes,” said Josh MacEachern, Public Information Officer for RTC. “It’s a fantastic way to avoid the hassle of parking and enjoy some award-winning ribs.”
