RTC Seeks Public Input on the Future of Transportation in Washoe County

Reno, Nevada (September 8, 2025) – The Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) of Washoe County is launching a study to plan the future of public transportation in Washoe County.

The Move More with RTC study will review services like RTC RIDE, FlexRIDE, ACCESS and senior mobility programs to recommend ways to improve access, reliability, and rider experience.

Share your thoughts with a short survey on how RTC services work for you at www.rtcwashoe.com/movemore through October 12, 2025.

For more information, RTC is holding virtual and in-person public meetings on the following dates:

  • Tuesday, September 9 from 2 p.m. – 3 p.m. online (link available at www.rtcwashoe.com/movemore).
  • Wednesday, September 17 from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. at McKinley Arts & Culture Center (925 Riverside Drive, Reno NV 89503).
  • Thursday, September 18 from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. at Sparks City Hall (431 Prater Way, Sparks NV 89431).
  • Tuesday, September 23 from 5 p.m. – 6 p.m. (link available at www.rtcwashoe.com/movemore).
