Join RTC for our Second Keystone Avenue Bridge Replacement Project Public Meeting Thursday, July 11
Reno, Nevada (July 10, 2024) – The Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) of Washoe County is inviting the community to learn about and provide input toward the Keystone Avenue Bridge Replacement Project.
This meeting will take place in-person on Thursday, July 11 at McKinley Arts & Culture Center from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. with a brief presentation at 5:30 p.m. The presentation materials are also available virtually now through August 14 at keystonebridgeproject.com.
“We received some great input from the community at the first Keystone Bridge Public Meeting back in December,” said Josh MacEachern, Public Information Officer for RTC. “It’s great to get back out to the public with some of the updates to this project.”
Both meetings will include information on the existing bridge conditions and bridge study process. Participants will have the opportunity to provide input on the study.

About the Keystone Bridge Replacement Project: The objective of the Keystone Bridge Replacement is to provide a structurally sound Keystone Avenue bridge over the Truckee River in Reno, Nevada, and improve mobility options in the corridor surrounding the bridge, approximately from California Avenue to West 1st Street. The initial phase and design for the replacement of the Keystone Bridge is federally funded by the Federal Bridge Formula Program (BFP). Additional funding will be required to cover improvement beyond the limits of bridge funding.
