RTC Invites You to Celebrate Fourth of July with Free Rides to the Star Spangled Sparks Event!
Reno, Nevada (July 2, 2024) – The Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) of Washoe County is offering free transit service on the Lincoln Line from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., and Route 11 from 4 p.m. to midnight on Thursday, July 4 for the Star Spangled Sparks Fourth of July fireworks celebration at The Nugget Casino Resort.
RTC will also provide free rides to and from The Nugget Casino Resort on RTC ACCESS.
“This is a fantastic opportunity for families to celebrate the holiday and save on parking,” said Jim Gee, Public Transportation Director for RTC. “Plus we’re always excited to introduce people to Washoe’s growing transit system.”
RTC FlexRIDE and RIDE services will operate on a Sunday-level schedule for July 4.
