SOMERSETT PARKWAY REHABILITATION (2024 CORRECTIVE MAINTENANCE)

- Crews will begin at Mae Anne and progress to Del Webb Parkway with lowering utilities in preparation of the mill and full operation to follow.
- Traffic impacts will be minimal with minor delays in specific locations with flagger control.
- This activity will last 3-4 weeks.
ODDIE/WELLS PROJECT – PYRAMID WAY (SPARKS) TO I-80 WESTBOUND RAMPS (RENO)

- Intermittent lane shifts for punch item list work and landscape work.
SOUTH VIRGINIA STREET SAFETY & CAPACITY PROJECT – I-580 EXIT 29 TO LONGLEY LANE (RENO)

- Two lanes on each direction will remain open along South Virginia Street between 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- NV Energy crews on site removing northbound power poles by Carpeteria.
- Crews working on the southbound side removing/installing new driveways, sidewalk, and pedestrian ramps.
- Night work starting the week of August11, with closures and detours. At least one lane will be open on South Virginia Street starting at 6:00 p.m. everyday until 7:00 a.m. the next day.
- West Coast Dirt Works crews will be on-site doing private development work during the weekends of August 16-19 and 23-26. Work to include sewer line connection along northbound lanes closer to the intersection at Patriot Boulevard.
SPARKS INTELLIGENT CORRIDORS

STEAMBOAT PARKWAY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT – DAMONTE RANCH PARKWAY TO VETERANS PARKWAY

- Two travel lanes in each direction will be maintained on Steamboat Parkway.
- Steamboat Parkway will be reduced to one lane in each direction at times.
- Shoulder closures for westbound and eastbound Steamboat Parkway between Marketplace Drive and Veterans Parkway.
- Shoulder closures/lane reduction at the intersection of Veterans Parkway and Steamboat Parkway.
KIETZKE INTELLIGENT TRAFFIC SYSTEMS (ITS) PROJECT

Construction is underway for Kietzke ITS Project and will continue through mid October. Project limits start at the intersection of Manual Street and E 2nd Street to the intersection of E 2nd Street to Kietzke Lane. From there, the project continues in the southbound shoulder along Kietzke Lane to Mill Street.
August 19 – August 23
- One travel lane in each direction will be maintained on E 2nd Street for shoulder work.
- A detour will be in place for eastbound traffic on E 2nd Street as crews construct trench through roudabout. Detour will be as follows:
- Road will be closed in eastbound direction at the intersection of Pringle Way and E 2nd Street.
- Eastbound traffic will be detoured back to Kietzke Lane via Manuel Street and Kuenzli Street.

Clear Acre Lane and N. McCarran Boulevard
- Paving work will begin on the north leg of the intersection on Clear Acre Lane between Selmi Drive and N. McCarran Boulevard in the hours between 4:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.
- Motorists should expect lane restrictions in the southbound direction during this time.
Los Altos Parkway and Galleria Parkway
- Paving work will take place near the intersection.
- Motorists should expect lane closures in the westbound direction during daytime working hours.

El Rancho Drive and G Street
- Motorists should anticipate daytime shoulder and intermittent lane closures near the signalized intersection while crews complete trenching activities.
- At least one lane for each travel direction will remain open throughout this phase of work.
