ODDIE/WELLS PROJECT – PYRAMID WAY (SPARKS) TO I-80 WESTBOUND RAMPS (RENO)

SOUTH VIRGINIA STREET SAFETY & CAPACITY PROJECT – I-580 EXIT 29 TO LONGLEY LANE (RENO)

  • Two lanes on each direction will remain open along South Virginia Street between 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  • Night work is anticipated in August, with closures and detours. At least one lane will be open on South Virginia Street starting at 6:00 p.m. everyday until 7:00 a.m. the next day.
  • No construction during Hot August Nights – August 2-11.


SPARKS INTELLIGENT CORRIDORS

STEAMBOAT PARKWAY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT – DAMONTE RANCH PARKWAY TO VETERANS PARKWAY

  • Two travel lanes in each direction will be maintained on Steamboat Parkway. Steamboat Parkway will be reduced to one lane in each direction at times.
  • Shoulder closure for westbound and eastbound Steamboat Parkway between Marketplace Drive and Veterans Parkway.
  • Shoulder closures/lane reduction at the intersection of Veterans Parkway and Steamboat Parkway.

El Rancho Drive and G Street

  • Motorists should anticipate daytime shoulder and intermittent lane closures near the signalized intersection while crews complete trenching activities.
  • At least one lane for each travel direction will remain open throughout this phase of work.

Los Altos Parkway and Galleria Parkway

  • Crews will begin work to extend the westbound to southbound left turn pocket at the intersection.
  • Motorists should expect lane closures in the westbound direction during daytime working hours.

Intermittent lane and shoulder closures will occur at the following intersections between the hours of 7:00am – 5:00pm as crews complete work on traffic signal systems:

  • Mount Rose Highway and Wedge Parkway
  • Mount Rose Highway and Thomas Creek Road
  • Sun Valley Boulevard and 5th Street
