OCTOBER 20, 2023:
The Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) of Washoe County and Granite Construction will close the northbound offramp of U.S. 395 at Oddie Boulevard Monday, Oct. 23, Tuesday, Oct. 24, Monday, Oct. 30, Tuesday, Oct. 31, and Thursday, Nov. 2, 6 a.m.-11 a.m., weather permitting.
Detours are in place. The RTC is advising the traveling public to plan their trips ahead and take their preferred alternate route.
The closure is necessary for crews to begin roadbed modifications and asphalt paving on the eastbound lanes of Oddie Boulevard as part of Phase 3 of the Oddie Wells Project.
About the Oddie Wells Project:
The Oddie Wells Project will increase safety, connectivity, and mobility options along this heavily traveled corridor. The project plans include new lighting, landscaping, ADA improvements, pedestrian ramps, and bicycle facilities, providing safer traffic operations. Corridor improvements will support economic investment and redevelopment while enhancing the quality of life for area residents by improving accessibility and safety.
