Through this program, road construction projects improve streets, highways, and intersections to enhance safety, reduce congestion, and provide smoother, more reliable travel for all users, while minimizing disruptions and delivering long-term community benefits.”

SPARKS BOULEVARD CAPACITY IMPROVEMENT (GREG STREET TO BARING BOULEVARD)
The purpose of the project is to address operations and capacity deficiencies and improve safety and mobility for all modes of transportation including cars, pedestrians, transit, and bicycles. This project advances improvements along the corridor between Greg Street and Baring Boulevard that were identified in the Sparks Boulevard Multi-Modal Corridor Study (Corridor Study), prepared by the RTC in June 2015.

MILITARY ROAD CAPACITY AND SAFETY
This project will increase safety, add roadway capacity, and improve bicycle and pedestrian facilities on Military Road between Lemmon Drive and Lear Boulevard. Other improvements will include intersection modifications, access control, and drainage improvements.
