NOVEMBER 8, 2023:

The Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) of Washoe County is hosting a community event to recognize and celebrate the completion of Phase 2 of the Oddie Wells Project. Phase 2 begins at Sullivan Lane and concludes at Silverada Boulevard along Oddie Boulevard. The project features new lighting, landscaping, ADA improvements, pedestrian ramps, bicycle facilities, and a raised median for safer traffic operations.

The family-friendly event will take place on Saturday, November 11 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at The Generator Community Makerspace located at 2450 Oddie Boulevard.

“We’re excited for the public to see how far we’ve come in this project,” Maria Paz Fernandez, RTC Project Manager said. “This event marks the second major milestone of the Oddie Wells Project, and we’re grateful to have the support of local businesses such as The Generator, as well as the City of Reno’s Arts and Culture Department.”

The event will feature activities for families, raffle prizes and entertainment. Entrance to the event is free. Attached is an invitation in both English and Spanish.
