RTC Activates New Traffic Signal at Moana Lane Intersection June 20

Reno, Nevada (June 19, 2024) – The Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) of Washoe County will activate the new traffic signal at the intersection of Moana Lane, Baker Lane and Smith Drive tomorrow, June 20 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Baker Lane will fully reopen between Peckham Lane and Moana Lane.

Drivers should expect various lane closures while final installation work is completed, follow detours as marked.

“This new traffic signal will improve safety for motorists and pedestrians using the intersection,” said Alex Wolfson, Project Manager for RTC. “Visitors to the new Moana Aquatics Center opening later this year will also benefit from the improvements.”
