The Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) of Washoe County is seeking public comment on an initiative to design and reconstruct a safer, more resilient Lemmon Drive.
The project is a proposed realignment of Lemmon Drive from Fleetwood Drive to Ramsay Way above the 100-year flood plain to ensure safety, connectivity and resilience in the area.
Members of the public can submit their comments at the in-person meeting on Wednesday, February 7 at Lemmon Valley Elementary School from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Comments can also be submitted online starting January 24 at www.NorthValleysImprovements.com.

About the Lemmon Drive Traffic Improvements and Resiliency Project: The RTC, in collaboration with regional partners, stakeholders, and the community, is leading an initiative to design and reconstruct a safer, more resilient Lemmon Drive between Fleetwood Drive and Ramsey Way. The Lemmon Drive Traffic Improvements & Resiliency Project will assess the reconstruction of the roadway above the 100-year flood plain to enhance safety, connectivity, and resilience, particularly in adverse weather conditions and emergency events. The proposed Lemmon Drive will have two lanes of traffic, one in each direction, north of Palace Drive. Lemmon Drive between Fleetwood Drive and Patrician Drive will increase to two lanes in each direction to improve traffic operations.
