The Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) of Washoe County and Granite Construction will implement a short intersection closure at Oddie Boulevard and Silverada Boulevard for traffic signal improvements. The right turn lanes will remain open at the intersection. Westbound traffic on Oddie Boulevard will be detoured at El Rancho Drive for the day of construction.

The closure is planned over the President’s Day holiday to minimize impact to school schedules and commuter traffic. Plan your travel accordingly and follow detours as marked via Orovada Street or East 9th Street / G Street.

Currently in Phase 4 of construction, this RTC-sponsored multimodal improvement project is revitalizing the area by creating a safer corridor from the intersection of Oddie Boulevard and Pyramid Way in Sparks to the Wells Avenue and I-80 intersection in Reno.
