Ride to Hot August Nights with RTC
Reno, Nevada (August 5, 2024) – The Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) of Washoe County is once again providing free transportation on the RAPID Virginia Line, RAPID Lincoln Line, Route 1, and Route 11 through August 11 in partnership with Hot August Nights.
RTC’s RAPID Lincoln Line and Route 11 service run from Reno to Sparks on 4th Street and Prater Way. RTC’s RAPID Virginia Line and Route 1 service run along Virginia Street.
RTC ACCESS will also offer free rides within three quarters of a mile from Atlantis Casino, Nugget Casino Resort, Peppermill Casino, and Downtown Reno.
“Hot August Nights is a staple of our community,” RTC Director of Public Transportation and Operations Jim Gee said. “Using public transportation helps attendees avoid traffic and parking issues and focus on enjoying the event with their friends and family. “
