Somersett Parkway Corrective Maintenance Begins Monday, September 16

Reno, Nevada (September 13, 2024) – The Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) of Washoe County and Sierra Nevada Construction Inc. (SNC) are beginning work on the Somersett Parkway Corrective Maintenance Project Monday, September 16. This project consists of resurfacing Somersett Parkway from Mae Anne Avenue to Del Webb Parkway.

To complete the maintenance as efficiently as possible, crews will close westbound travel for the first phase beginning September 16 through the week of September 23.

During this phase, travel will be limited to the eastbound direction with a detour in place from Mae Anne Avenue to Del Webb Parkway, see attached graphic for details.

Please follow instructions from construction personnel during detours. Emergency vehicles will have right of way through the construction area if needed.
