Southbound Wedge Parkway Closure Begins Monday October 13
Reno, Nevada (October 10, 2025) – The Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) of Washoe County will be implementing a closure on southbound Wedge Parkway from Arrowcreek Parkway to Mt. Rose Highway beginning Monday, October 13. This closure is expected to last approximately two weeks. Northbound traffic will be open during this work.
Access will be maintained to neighborhood streets, however during pulverizing and paving operations side street access directly off Wedge Parkway may be inaccessible for a duration of up to one hour. For those occurrences one entrance will be accessible at a time for neighborhoods with multiple access points. Neighborhoods with one access point will have one-half of the access into the neighborhood open at a time through each operation with flagger controls in place.
Vehicles and pedestrians should follow posted detours, and use alternate routes such as Arrowcreek Parkway, Thomas Creek Road, and South Virginia Street.
