Thank Your Driver on National Transit Employee Appreciation Day

Reno, Nevada (March 17, 2025) – Tuesday, March 18 is National Transit Employee Appreciation Day.

The Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) of Washoe County encourages the community to join them in recognizing the incredible part our local transit employees play in keeping Washoe County moving.

“We recently reported our 31st consecutive month of ridership growth, and that’s due to the dedication and professionalism of transit employees,” RTC Public Information Officer Josh MacEachern said. “This National Transit Employee Appreciation Day, don’t forget to thank your driver for all they do.”
