PROJECT DESCRIPTION
RTC’s McCarran Boulevard Safety and Operational Improvements project is a multi-year effort that seeks to: identify segment  limits and associated scope of improvements throughout the McCarran Boulevard corridor, in alignment with established RTP transportation goals and associated performance monitoring processes, implement strategic prioritization and tracking of proposed improvements, utilize data obtained and resulting prioritization to pursue future funding opportunities; and advance two (2) segments of the corridor to final design and construction. The limits associated with these (2) segments are approximately defined as included per the RTC Street and Highway Program for Fiscal Year 2024.

LATEST NEWS
The project prioritization phase is underway. The Prioritization Working Group (PWG) has been established to assist in coordination efforts between RTC, NDOT and local agencies. The PWG is currently reviewing prioritizing model criteria. Conceptual Engineering anticipated in Spring of 2025. Preliminary design for (2) segments to start Summer 2025.
