ARLINGTON AVENUE BRIDGES PROJECT – 1ST STREET TO ISLAND AVENUE

West 1st Street and Arlington Avenue intersection will be closed to all traffic. Arlington Avenue will be closed between West 1st Street and Island Avenue. Northbound traffic will be detoured to the Virginia Street bridge. Southbound traffic and pedestrians will be detoured to the Sierra Street bridge.
- Starting May 12th: West Street will be open to westbound traffic only between West Street and Stevenson Street.
- Wingfield Park will remain closed from May 5, 2025, until summer 2026.
- River recreation detours will also be in place.

Single lane closures on Mill Street westbound from Greg Street/Terminal Way to the I-580 southbound ramp intersection 6:00 a.m. -3:00 p.m., Monday-Friday. The Route 12/14 bus stop at Mill Street/Matley Lane is closed – riders should follow signage to the nearest bus stop of call RTC customer service at 775-348-RIDE (348-7433) for real time information.

(SPARKS) Rock & C Street – Lane reductions will be implemented on the northbound approach on Rock Boulevard at C Street during daytime construction hours. The sidewalk will be closed on the east side of Rock Boulevard. Pedestrians should follow signed detours around the closures.
