Project Description
The project will modify two roundabouts on East Lincoln Way in Sparks between Sparks Boulevard and Marina Gateway Drive to reduce crashes, improve lane utilization, add capacity and facilitate safer pedestrian crossings. The modifications include adding a second circulating lane to access Scheels Drive at the Lincoln Way/ Scheels Drive roundabout, improving signage and sight lines at both roundabouts and adding pedestrian flashers for multi-lane pedestrian crossings.
Latest News
Construction began July 2025 and was substantially complete by end of September 2025. Installation of a foundation for a new overhead sign structure on westbound East Lincoln Way is anticipated to start in March 2026.
