ODDIE/WELLS PROJECT – PYRAMID WAY (SPARKS) TO I-80 WESTBOUND RAMPS (RENO)

- Intermittent lane shifts for punch item list work and landscape work.
SOUTH VIRGINIA STREET SAFETY & CAPACITY PROJECT – I-580 EXIT 29 TO LONGLEY LANE (RENO)

- Two lanes on each direction will remain open along South Virginia Street between 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (day work).
- At least one lane will be open on South Virginia Street starting at 6:00 p.m. everyday until 7:00 a.m. the next day (night work).
- Week of October 21:
- Crews are expected to continue working during the nighttime.
- Milling and paving starts the night of October 21-24.
- I-580 exit 29 ramps closures with detours at South Meadows and Neil Road.
STEAMBOAT PARKWAY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT – DAMONTE RANCH PARKWAY TO VETERANS PARKWAY

Construction is underway and will continue through Fall 2024. This week crews will be performing concrete work, storm drain installation, and landscaping. Crews will begin full depth reconstruction of southbound Veterans Parkway between RC Willey and the intersection of Steamboat Parkway/Veterans Parkway. Through traffic is advised to use an alternate route, if possible.
October 21 – October 25
- Two travel lanes in each direction will be maintained on Steamboat Parkway.
- Shoulder closures for westbound and eastbound Steamboat Parkway between Marketplace Drive and Veterans Parkway.
- Shoulder closures/lane reductions at the intersection of Veterans Parkway and Steamboat Parkway.
- Southbound Veterans Parkway will be reduced to a continuous single lane closure between Carat Avenue and the intersection of Steamboat Parkway/Veterans Parkway for the next few weeks.
KIETZKE INTELLIGENT TRAFFIC SYSTEMS (ITS) PROJECT

Construction is underway for Kietzke ITS Project and will continue through mid October. Project limits start at the intersection of Manual Street and E 2nd Street to the intersection of E 2nd Street to Kietzke Lane. From there, the project continues in the southbound shoulder along Kietzke Lane to Mill Street.
October 21 – October 25
- Shoulder closures and lane reductions in the southbound direction on Kietzke Lane between E. 2nd Street and Mill Street.
- Shoulder closures and lane reductions in the eastbound direction on 2nd Street between Manuel Street and Kietzke Lane.
- Lane reductions and traffic shifts through the intersection of Kietzke Lane and 2nd Street.
RALEIGH HEIGHTS REHABILITATION

- Work will continue at El Rancho and G Street.
- Motorists should expect daytime shoulder closures and lane restrictions.
- All movements will be open at the intersection and businesses access will remain open during the construction.
- Marked pedestrian detours will be in place to route pedestrians through the work zone.
