RTC Core Functions Infographic

Welcome to the Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) of Washoe County, Nevada. RTC serves the citizens of Reno and Sparks along with unincorporated areas of Washoe County.

Established in July 1979 through legislation enacted by the Nevada Legislature, the RTC represents the consolidation of the Regional Street and Highway Commission, the Regional Transit Commission, and the Washoe County Area Transportation Study Policy Committee.

This consolidation enhances both the effectiveness and efficiency of planning and implementing surface transportation programs throughout Washoe County.
