The RTC Marketing and Communications Department supports the agency’s mission by delivering clear, consistent, and accessible information to the public. Through strategic messaging, community engagement, and integrated communication efforts, the department ensures residents of Reno, Sparks, and unincorporated Washoe County stay informed about transit services, road projects, and regional transportation initiatives. Our work strengthens public awareness, enhances transparency, and promotes the RTC’s commitment to safe, reliable, and efficient mobility for all.

THE ROAD AHEAD WITH RTC

The Road Ahead with RTC airs on KOLO 8 News Now on Tuesdays during Good Morning Reno, on Wednesdays during the 5:30 p.m. newscast, and on Thursdays KOLO 8 News Now Midday. This weekly news segment features interviews addressing transportation projects, needs, and solutions.

TRANSIT ADVERTISING

The RTC Public Transportation and Operations Department is responsible for the selling of transit advertising. Exterior and interior advertising space is available on our transit buses.  Please email transitadvertising@rtcwashoe.com for more information.
