THE REGIONAL TRANSPORTATION SETS TRIENNIAL DISADVANTAGED BUSINESS ENTERPRISE (DBE) PARTICIPATION GOAL FOR FEDERAL FISCAL YEARS 2026-2028
Reno, Nevada (August 29, 2025) – The Regional Transportation Commission of Washoe County (RTC) has established a proposed overall goal of 0.55% for Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) participation for Federal Fiscal Years 2026-2028.
This goal is based on the anticipated availability of federally assisted contracting opportunities, historical DBE participation, and the relative availability of ready, willing, and able DBE firms for the types of projects RTC is expected to let between October 1, 2025 –September 30, 2028.
To learn more about RTC’s proposed goal and how the goal was set, a public presentation is being held online on Monday, September 22 at 1 p.m.
