ODDIE/WELLS PROJECT – PYRAMID WAY (SPARKS) TO I-80 WESTBOUND RAMPS (RENO)

  • Intermittent lane shifts for punch item list work and landscape maintenance work.
  • Between US 395 and Sutro Street in Reno:
    • Lane closures for privacy wall work.


SOUTH VIRGINIA STREET SAFETY & CAPACITY PROJECT – I-580 EXIT 29 TO LONGLEY LANE (RENO)

  • Two lanes on each direction will remain open along South Virginia Street between 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (day work).
  • At least one lane will be open on South Virginia Street starting at 6:00 p.m. everyday until 7:00 a.m. the next day (night work).
  • Marathon Weekend (Friday 11/8 – Sunday 11/10):
    • Milling and paving at the intersection of South Virginia Street with Longley Lane
    • One lane in each direction open on South Virginia Street
    • Closures and detours on Longley Lane
  • Week of November 11th:
    • Crews are expected to work during the day.
    • Raising utilities, miscellaneous asphalt and sidewalk concrete work and landscaping.


STEAMBOAT PARKWAY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT – DAMONTE RANCH PARKWAY TO VETERANS PARKWAY

Construction is underway and will continue through Fall 2024. This week crews will be performing roadway reconstruction and landscaping. Crews will continue dull depth reconstruction of southbound Veterans Parkway between RC Willey and the intersection of Steamboat Parkway/Veterans Parkway. Through traffic is advised to use an alternate route, if possible.

November 11 – November 15

  • Two travel lanes in each direction will be maintained on Steamboat Parkway.
  • Shoulder closures for westbound and eastbound Steamboat Parkway between Damonte Ranch Parkway and Veterans Parkway.
  • Shoulder closures/lane reductions at the intersection of Veterans Parkway and Steamboat Parkway.
  • Southbound Veterans Parkway will be reduced to a continuous single lane closure between Carat Avenue and the intersection of Steamboat Parkway/Veterans Parkway for the next few weeks.

El Rancho & G Street (Sparks): Motorists should expect changing traffic control conditions through the week as crews complete utility work and detection loop installation. Isolated shoulder closures and lane closures will be implemented at the intersection during the daytime working hours, though all movements will remain open and at least one lane of travel will be maintained in each direction on both El Rancho and G Street.

Ryland & Locust (Reno): The southwest shoulder will be closed and isolated lane reductions on Locus Street may be implemented Monday and Tuesday. Pedestrians should follow the signed detour route around the closure.

Plumb & Plumas (Reno): The southeast shoulder will be closed and isolated lane reductions on Plumb Lane and Plumas Streets may be implemented Monday through Wednesday during daytime working hours. Pedestrians should follow the signed detour route around the closure.

Robb & Mae Anne (Reno): The southwest shoulder will be closed and isolated lane reductions on Robb Drive and Mae Anne Avenue may be implemented Tuesday through Friday during daytime working hours. Pedestrians should follow the signed detour route around the closure.

Golden Valley & North Hills (Reno): The northwest shoulder will be closed and isolated lane reductions on Golden Valley Road and North Hills Boulevard may be implemented Thursday through Friday during daytime working hours. Pedestrians should follow the signed detour route around the closure.
