Project Description
The project will make the following improvements along Stead Boulevard inn the North Valleys:
- Install fiber optics between North Virginia Street and Lear Boulevard to enhance traffic signal communications and reliability
- Left turn improvements at the Stead Boulevard / Lear Boulevard intersection to enhance safety
- New crosswalk improvements at the Stead Boulevard / Mount Shasta Street Intersection
- Miscellaneous traffic signal equipment upgrades to enhance aging infrastructure

The project design has reached ninety percent milestone. Right of way acquisition is in progress. Major construction is on track to occur Summer 2026.
