1ST STREET REHABILITATION AND SIGNAL REPLACEMENT (VIRGINIA TO SIERRA STREET)

ODDIE/WELLS PROJECT – PYRAMID WAY (SPARKS) TO I-80 WESTBOUND RAMPS (RENO)

Phase 1 – Pyramid Way to Sullivan Lane (Sparks):

  • Intermittent lane shifts for punch item list work and landscape work, including privacy wall repair/replacement and cycle track removal/replacement.

Phase 2 – Sullivan Lane (Sparks) to east of US 395 Ramps (Reno):

  • Intermittent lane shifts for punch item list work and landscape work.

Phase 3 – east of US 395 Ramps to Sutro Street (Reno):

Phase 4 – Sutro Street to I-80 Ramps (Reno):

  • Intermittent lane shifts for fiber installation, punch item list work and landscape work.

SOUTH VIRGINIA STREET SAFETY & CAPACITY PROJECT – I-580 EXIT 29 TO LONGLEY LANE (RENO)

  • Two lanes on each direction will remain open along South Virginia Street between 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  • Construction during the day. Concrete work (sidewalk, curb, and gutter, driveways, etc.) along the northbound side of South Virginia.
  • Night work is anticipated in August, with closures and detours. At least one lane will be open on South Virginia Street starting at 6:00 p.m. everyday until 7:00 a.m. the next day.


SELMI DRIVE REHABILITATION PROJECT (SUTRO STREET TO CLEAR ACRE LANE RENO)

SPARKS INTELLIGENT CORRIDORS

Motorists may see various lane and shoulder closures at the following locations for fiber optics installation:

  • Galleria Parkway between Los Altos Parkway and Disc Drive
  • Los Altos Parkway between Galleria Parkway and Ion Drive


STEAMBOAT PARKWAY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT – DAMONTE RANCH PARKWAY TO VETERANS PARKWAY

  • Two travel lanes in each direction will be maintained on Steamboat Parkway. Steamboat Parkway will be reduced to one lane in each direction at times.
  • Shoulder closure for westbounnd and eastbound Steamboat Parkway between Marketplace Drive and Veterans Parkway.
  • Shoulder closures/lane reduction at the intersection of Veterans Parkway and Steamboat Parkway.


SOUTH MEADOWS TRAFFIC ENHANCEMENTS

NORTH VIRGINIA UNIVERSITY REHABILITATION – LAWLOR ROUNDABOUT TO NORTH MCCARRAN BOULEVARD

June 15 to July 24

  • One-way traffic on North Virginia Street for north bound traffic only.
  • Utilize Sierra Street for business access and alternate route.
  • No on-street parking.

TRAFFIC SIGNAL MODIFICATION 23-01

Work will begin on the project on July 14 at the following project locations:

Clear Acre Lane and N. McCarran Boulevard

  • Nighttime (6:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m.) should and lane closures will begin on the evening of Sunday, July 14.
  • At least one lane will remain open on all approaches to the intersection.

El Rancho Drive and G Street

Motorists should anticipate daytime shoulder and lane closures beginning Monday, July 15.

Motorists should anticipate changing lane patterns approaching these intersections. At least one lane for each travel direction will remain open throughout this phase of work.
