Project Description

This project will rehabilitate the pavement on Keystone Avenue from Coleman Drive to McCarran Boulevard and install safety improvements for pedestrians and cyclists.

Planned safety improvements include:

Enhanced signage and more visible crosswalk striping
Concrete bulb-outs at select intersections to shorten pedestrian crossing distances
Intersection adjustments to improve visibility for drivers and shorten pedestrian crossing distances
Upgrades to concrete traffic chicanes to meet current standards
Installation of additional concrete traffic chicanes
Installation of a Rapid Rectangular Flashing Beacon (RRFB) at the Keystone and Putnam crosswalk
