Project Description

Pavement rehabilitation with micromobility elements along 7th Street from Keystone Avenue to Washington Street.

Pavement rehabilitation on 6th Street from Arlington Avenue to West Street.

Pavement rehabilitation on West Street from 5th Street to 6th Street.

Construction starts February 2, 2026 on:

Normal working hours are Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

• 7th Street from Keystone Avenue to Washington Street
• 6th Street from Arlington Avenue to West Street
• West Street from 5th Street to 6th Street

Through mid March, crews will be removing and replacing portions of concrete curb and gutter, sidewalks, pedestrian ramps and driveways. Access will be maintained to adjacent properties during construction; however, temporary driveway closures will occur, and property owners/tenants will be notified 18-24 hours in advance of driveway closures or obstructions. Parking on street will not be possible within the construction traffic control zones during construction. Short traffic delays may occur. Vehicles and pedestrians should follow posted detours. Please use alternate routes.

6th Street will be closed between Arlington Avenue and West Street. Detour route for St. Mary’s Emergency Room will be posted.

During construction, the RTC RIDE Route 4 bus service will be impacted. Detours or changes to bus stop locations are noted in advance of the affected stops.
