Ride to Hot August Nights with RTC

Reno, Nevada (August 1, 2025) – The Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) of Washoe County is once again providing free transportation on the RAPID Virginia Line, RAPID Lincoln Line, Route 1, Route 11 and Route 7 through August 10 in partnership with Hot August Nights.

RTC’s RAPID Lincoln Line and Route 11 services run from Reno to Sparks on Fourth Street and Prater Way. RTC’s RAPID Virginia Line and Route 1 services run along Virginia Street, with Route 7 extending to Stead.

RTC ACCESS will also offer free rides to Atlantis Casino, Grand Sierra Resort and Casino, Nugget Casino Resort, Peppermill Casino, University of Nevada, and Fourth Street Station.

“Hot August Nights is a staple of our community,” RTC Director of Public Transportation and Operations Jim Gee said. “Using public transportation helps attendees avoid traffic and parking issues and focus on enjoying the event with their friends and family.”
