RENO, Nev. (Oct. 19, 2026) – The Regional Transportation Commission of Washoe County (RTC) is seeking public feedback to help guide the Keystone Avenue Safety and Traffic Improvements Project. The project will evaluate potential improvements along Keystone Avenue between First and Seventh streets.
The improvements under consideration are intended to enhance safety, improve intersection operations and accessibility and better manage access to businesses and properties along the corridor.
Residents, business owners, employees and others who travel along Keystone Avenue are encouraged to complete a short survey about their experiences driving, walking, biking, using mobility devices or riding transit. The survey takes less than five minutes to complete and is open now through Tuesday, Nov. 17.
The survey asks participants to share concerns about traffic delays, signal timing, turning movements, access to businesses and properties, intersection lighting and nighttime visibility, and safety when crossing the street. Participants can also identify locations where sidewalks, curb ramps or other facilities may present accessibility barriers.
Specific feedback about intersections, driveways, crossings and the times of day when issues occur will help the project team identify priorities and evaluate potential improvements during the study.
