Project Description

This project will upgrade existing bus stops to comply with state and federal requirements, including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Improvements will provide more accessible bus pads and improve connectivity to RTC RIDE bus stops.

Sierra Nevada Construction, Inc (SNC) has been awarded construction of the project.

Construction of the bus stop on Robb Drive at McQueen High School to start on October 5, 2026, during Washoe Count School District (WCSD) Fall 2026 break. Construction of the remaining bus stops is anticipated to start in November 2026.
