FLEXRIDE TRANSIT SERVICE

Try RTC’s FlexRIDE curbside-to-curbside transit service available in select areas of Sparks/Spanish Springs, Somersett/Verdi, South Meadows and North Valleys.

Scheduling a FlexRIDE is done by using the RTC Connect app on your smartphone or tablet, or by calling a dispatcher at (775) 335-0035. Schedule your ride at your desired travel time and the ride can be expected to arrive to the curbside closest to your location, average wait time is 20 minutes but could take up to 1 hour. Fares will be the same as the standard RTC RIDE fares.

FlexRIDE Wait Times and Fares

• Trips are scheduled at your preferred travel time with an average wait time of 20 minutes (up to 1 hour during peak times).
• FlexRIDE fares match standard RTC RIDE fares.

RTC ACCESS RIDERS

Eligible riders can now book or cancel their trips using:

• RTC CONNECT App: Download it on your smartphone or tablet from the Apple Store or Google Play Store.
• Website: rtcwashoe.com/rtcconnect
• Phone: Call an RTC ACCESS Reservationist at (775) 348-5438 (available 1–3 days in advance)

Important: Cancelling RTC ACCESS Trips

• Cancel on the day of service at least one hour before your 20-minute ready window to avoid a late cancellation penalty.
• Late cancellations are treated as no-shows. For more details, refer to the “No-shows and Late Cancellation” section in the Rider Guide.

WHAT DOES IT COST?

• Only $2.00 per trip!
• Reduced fare rides are $1.00
• Drivers do not accept cash. Only Token Transit or RTC RIDE Bus Passes will be accepted. Drivers may not accept tips.
