Reno, Nevada (November 7, 2025) – The Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) of Washoe County is helping the community honor our veterans by providing free rides on RTC transit services for everyone on Tuesday, November 11 in celebration of Veterans Day.
“This is our way of showing appreciation for our veterans, and their contributions to our country,” said Josh MacEachern, RTC Public Information Officer. “We encourage the public to enjoy free transit to the City of Reno’s Veterans Day Parade, or to visit the Nevada Veterans Memorial Plaza at Sparks Marina.”
RTC RIDE, ACCESS, and FlexRIDE will be included. RTC administrative offices will be closed in observance of the holiday.
