The Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) of Washoe County is implementing temporary road closures and traffic pattern changes in downtown Reno as crews work on pavement and sidewalk rehabilitation.

The Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) of Washoe County and the Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) have prepared an Environmental Assessment (EA) for the Lemmon Drive Traffic Improvements and Resiliency Project, a proposed infrastructure initiative designed to improve safety and protect the roadway from future flooding. The public is being invited to participate in a public hearing by reviewing and providing comments on the EA.

The Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) of Washoe County will begin pavement rehabilitation work on key sections of 7th Street, 6th Street and West Street starting Monday, Feb. 2. The project is part of RTC’s ongoing commitment to maintain and improve roadway infrastructure.
