FOR RELEASE: Road rehabilitation work begins Monday on Prater Way in Sparks

The Regional Transportation Commission of Washoe County (RTC) is starting roadway improvements on Prater Way in Sparks on Monday, June 15. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction between Pyramid Way and Stanford Way as crews begin concrete removal, concrete replacement and storm drain improvements on the Prater Way Rehabilitation Project.

The Regional Transportation Commission of Washoe County (RTC) will begin construction on the Virginia Line Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Improvements Project at 7 p.m. Sunday, May 31. Initial work will take place on South Virginia Street between Moana Lane and Hubbard Way.

FOR RELEASE: Southbound Sparks Boulevard lane reductions begin Wednesday

The Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) of Washoe County will reduce traffic to one lane on southbound Sparks Boulevard between Baring Boulevard and Shadow Lane beginning Wednesday, April 8, and continuing through Friday, April 10. Closures will be in effect daily from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

FOR RELEASE: RTC Hosts Public Hearing for the Lemmon Drive Traffic Improvements & Resiliency Project Environmental Assessment

The Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) of Washoe County and the Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) have prepared an Environmental Assessment (EA) for the Lemmon Drive Traffic Improvements and Resiliency Project, a proposed infrastructure initiative designed to improve safety and protect the roadway from future flooding. The public is being invited to participate in a public hearing by reviewing and providing comments on the EA.

Community feedback can be submitted online now through February 12.
